The business started in 1928 in Castlemartyr, East Cork and has successfully looked after its customers through many generations right up to this date, selling and servicing Ford cars and commercial vehicles. This is reflected in being awarded the prestigious Ford Chairman’s Award on six occasions in the last number of years. At Abernethy’s the customer comes first. Similarly, our Ford franchise is fast establishing a reputation as one of the leading dealerships in South East Munster in line with Ford’s extraordinary growth nationwide.

In 2015 we celebrated 10 years in Midleton. Since moving to Midleton back in 2005 the business has gone from strength to strength and we would like to thank all of our customers that have continued to make our dealership one of the best in East Cork.
